ABOUT THE MURAL

Our Towns delivered creative workshops with all Crays Hill pupils reflecting on what is important to them and what they like about their home town.

Overarching themes across the classes were clear as young people drew their families, pets and spending time outside either playing or appreciating nature. The artwork celebrates the bond between people and animals, and a shared family activity as two siblings care for the horse.

Crays Hill Primary School serves a large community of families from the Travelling community.

They have a dedicated team of professionals who work extremely hard to ensure every child learns and achieves their full potential and champion the children that they teach.

They want every child to be safe and happy at school and believe that the key to this is for us all to have self-respect and respect for others.
